• Avoid reckless steal attempts: Swiping for a steal triggers a brief cooldown animation where your player cannot move. Overusing the steal button lets opponents blow past you for uncontested layups.
• Time your rim protection: Jumping too early on defense leaves you vulnerable while falling. Wait until the shooter reaches the apex of their leap before pressing jump to swat the ball cleanly.
• Save supershots for buzzer beaters: Unstoppable supershot animations guarantee points regardless of court positioning. Holding your charged meter until the final seconds of a half prevents your opponent from having enough time to answer back.
